How To Measure Your Ring Size

Get a flexible tape measure or piece of string, paper, cord, etc., to hold up to a hard tape measure or ruler. Wrap the tape measure or string around the lower part of your select finger widest part of your finger until the fit is snug and comfortable; mark where the ends meet. . . .

Lay string flat, against a ruler, to discern your size in centimeters (cm), then translate it to ring size:

Example: 6 cm = Size 6 ring ... If between, round UP rather than down (read on to learn why)

RING-MEASURING TIPS:

Measure at the end of the day in normal temperatures; time of day, temperature, water intake, etc., can affect our fingers!

When in doubt, go up a size. It's easier to resize a ring smaller. A size up may also be better if you live in a warm environment, as heat can cause your fingers to swell.

HAVE YOU TRIED IT? We have heard this method but haven't tried it ourselves: shoe size divided by 2 plus 1.5 may give you your ring size!

How to Measure Bracelet Size

Similar to measuring for ring size, wrap a string, paper, or other substrate around the smallest portion of your wrist. Use a pen to mark where the ends meet. Lay flat to measure with a ruler and add a small margin to accommodate what is comfortable for you so the bracelet is not too tight.

BRACELET-MEASURING TIPS & INSIGHT:

The most popular bracelet size is approximately 18 centimeters (7 inches), but sizing also involves stylistic preferences: so long as a bracelet is not restrictive or, on the other end, risks falling off, some prefer a safely snug fit whereas others prefer bracelets that loosely but securely move about the wrist. If it is between two sizes, please determine your preferred style first. If you like slightly tighter, choose a smaller size; if you like looser, choose a larger size.

If you wear it often, a bracelet may loosen approximately .5-1cm in the first year, depending on the material.
